What you get

  • Vacuum sealed cubed round steak, cut into strips
  • Flour
  • Sliced onions and mushrooms
  • Beef broth
  • Truly Tasteful cream of mushroom soup
  • Sour cream
  • Egg noodles
  • Truly Tasteful House Seasoning - salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Haricot Vert Green Beans


  • Sprinkle pre-cut round steak with Truly Tasteful House Seasoning and then dust with flour
  • In large skillet, over medium high heat, quickly brown the steak strips in olive oil & butter
  • Remove to plate and keep warm
  • Add sliced onions and mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté for 5-8 minutes, until onions and mushrooms are tender
  • Sprinkle the onion mushroom mixture with 1 Tbsp of flour
  • Return browned steak strips to pan, add the Truly Tasteful mushroom soup and beef broth
  • Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes
  • Adjust seasoning to taste, adding salt and pepper to taste
  • Stir in the sour cream just before serving
  • Meanwhile, boil water
  • Add green beans to boiling water and blanch them for two minutes
  • Remove and set aside under cold water
  • Add egg noodles and boil for 6 minutes
  • Drain in colander and run under cold water to halt the cooking process
  • Serve beef stroganoff over egg noodles
