WHAT YOU NEED

  • Parchment paper
  • Baking sheet
  • Oil cooking spray
  • Butter
  • Pot to boil rice
  • Pan to caramelize onions
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  • SALMON:
  • Preheat oven to broiler (high)
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray
  • Place salmon fillets on parchment lined baking sheet
  • Brush generously with Truly Tasteful miso sauce
  • Broil salmon on middle rack 6-8 minutes until opaque in the center
  • Transfer salmon to plate and garnish with sesame seeds, chopped scallions and cilantro
  • CARAMELIZED ONIONS:
  • In a sauté pan, heat 1 TB butter and olive oil on low and sauté chopped onions until browned
  • JASMINE RICE: 
  • Boil generously salted water and 2 TB olive oil or butter for jasmine rice
  • Add jasmine rice, return to boil
  • Cover and lower the heat to low, simmer rice for 20 min.
  • ASPARAGUS:
  • Boil salted water
  • Add asparagus and boil (blanche) for 2-3 minutes until bright green
  • Remove and run under cold water to halt cooking process
  • Drizzle with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
